The Local Government Finance Professionals of Queensland (LGFP) represent financial and accounting professionals in Queensland Local Government. First formed in 1980, LGFP has been at the forefront of advocating, connecting, and promoting innovation within our industry. The Association provides a forum for members to discuss the various opportunities and challenges which arise in the local government finance industry and across local government generally.
The Association has forged strong relationships with key stakeholders including the Queensland government, Queensland Audit Office, Queensland Treasury Corporation and more, which ensures that the voices of our members are heard.
